  • bring between 2 to 10 items from “suggested contents” in the resources page that you may want to write about
  • bring your notes Assignment 5, part A and B

  • bring the references you consider using (physical or electronic) - If needed, I can help you check out a reference during the meeting

  • Due Oct 21 Assignment 5 Part B - Pick a NEW topic and at least one new published reference or an article published in the arxiv.org from resources, and take notes - there will be no resubmission
• Due Friday, October 25 (required for passing Math2794W) Resubmission of Assignment 4
  • Create a new folder called assignment4final in your usual Overleaf project containing the following items:
    • A new letter addressed to the professor explanaining the changes you’ve made based on peer reviews, UConn career services and Writing Center (optional), and my feedback.
    • Use the following template for the letter .pdf file, .tex file and call it assignment4cover.tex
    • Your improved personal statement (.tex file) and all other files needed to compile it, if you chose to do a personal statement.
    • Your improved job cover letter (.tex file) and all other files needed to compile it, if you chose to do a cover letter.
    • Your improved resume (.tex file) and all other files needed to compile it, if you chose to do a resume.
    • The original PDF printout of your job advertisement, if you chose to practice applying for a job.
• Wednesday Talk, comment form due the following Wednesday
  • During the talk, take notes and ask questions/answer questions
  • Due the following Wed After the talk, fill out and submit the comment form:
    • Download the template file comment_form_template.tex
